“I searched for an adult home for my friend Doc with some trepidation. He had always been a fiercely independent person, refusing any kind of assistance even though crippled by polio as a boy. Then he had a stroke. Assisted living was the only option. After considering several adult homes I chose Elderly Home Care for many reasons. It is a beautiful residence that is sparkling clean. It has nice rooms throughout and a covered deck that’s great for comfortable outdoor excursions. But most importantly, I chose EHC because it is obviously very well managed. In-house medical care is coordinated so that nurses, therapists, and pharmacy services are efficiently and conveniently provided for residents. I was especially impressed with Veronica, the manager, who obviously cares very much for her residents. She carefully listened to my questions and answered them directly with a candor that inspired confidence. Veronica impresses me as a person of great professionalism and integrity. I visited with Doc many times over the five months that he lived here. I always left with a confident feeling that he was in good hands. The EHC staff made many accommodations for his special needs. They kept him well-nourished even though Doc had severe swallowing difficulties. Common bed sores were promptly treated and quickly healed. His room was always immaculate and smelled good. Everything possible was done to insure his comfort. Doc often mentioned how quiet and peaceful it was here. He liked to sit on the deck and watch contented rabbits munch buttercups in the lawn. When Doc breathed his last I felt most grateful to God that such a defiant character was able to spend his last days in such a wonderful, caring place.”

“My mother was a resident at Elderly Home Care for almost 4 years before passing due to Alzheimers. I had a great deal of anxiety concerning what kind of home to best choose for my mother so she would be happy and well cared for while still being able to afford it on my limited resources. I spent a couple months looking at and interviewing different kinds of care facilities and eventually decided on Elderly Home Care. It was a great choice. The owner, Veronica Adamovici, and her crew are amazing with the adults under their care. The home is suited for around six to seven residents and provided a better transition for my mother, coming from her own home environment, as opposed to going into a larger care facility that felt more like a corporate nursing facility. It is easy to navigate for limited mobility residents, has a covered back porch for getting outdoors, and is meticulously maintained. My mother, skinny as a rail, was always happy with the food, especially when they made a point of cooking special dishes and treats on a holiday or a life-moment celebration. Each resident has a private room and there are common rooms where they can sit and interact during the day. All residents eat at the dining table together for every meal, which helps keep socialization an active part of their routine. They provide 24 hour care with extra observation when needed. However, beyond the services you would hope every care faculty provides, the thing that I believe made the greatest difference for my mother and her well being was the feeling of being loved there. She knew people were watching out for her and cared a great deal for her mental and physical well being. I am very grateful for Veronica's time and care for my mother.”

“I am a hospice nurse that has worked with this facility for two years. Veronica, the owner is excellent with her patients. She is very connected to them and always knows what is going on with them. If she has any concerns, she calls me right away. Her facility is extremely clean and her caregivers are very conscientious and kind to the patients. And the facility has a warm home like atmosphere. The patients come out of their rooms during the day to mingle with other residents. I work with many facilities, and this by far is one of the best. “Finding an adult family home for my father was stressful. However, when we found Elderly Home Care, my brother and I knew this was the right place for our father. We found the staff to be very attentive and professional. The home was always very tidy and smelled clean (unlike skilled nursing facilities). But most of all, our father was and felt safe (and enjoyed the home cooked meals). We appreciated the open communication and personal touch (owner [Veronica] visited our father in the hospital prior to him moving in to connect and brought him a little treat).
